In this crazy adventure called life, it’s these varied roles in our network that keep us grounded, inspired, and moving forward. So, here’s to the tribe that cheers us on, challenges us, and ultimately, helps us soar.
The Motivator
Think of them as your personal cheerleader, always there to encourage you through the tough times. No matter the circumstances, having someone cheering you on makes your motivation soar. These motivators are often your partners, family, or closest friends.
The Assessor
In a courtroom, the jury assesses after gathering all the necessary information. Similarly, in life, the assessor is someone who provides candid perspectives on how you're doing in business or life. If you want diverse feedback, you need assessors in your circle of relationships.
The Advisor
This is the person you can call or contact anytime you need. You usually turn to them when making important decisions for your company's destiny or preparing to recruit for a crucial position.
Most advisors have experience in business or related fields. They're willing to take the time to give you advice. Sometimes their advice is something you don't want to hear because it reflects what you're avoiding. But that's why their advice matters. During times when you don't want to listen, remember you seek advice to help yourself or your business succeed.
The Partner
Partners are half the success in your business. They have the necessary elements you lack, or those elements are your current weaknesses. Contrary to common belief, they don't necessarily have to be co-founders with you.
Partners are usually internal individuals who understand your business inside out. Because they understand it too well, you might find it challenging to work with them, but your business cannot thrive without them.
The Wingman/Woman
Every entrepreneur needs someone willing to listen to their ideas and provide feedback afterward. That's the role of the wingman/woman, those willing to help you brainstorm new business ideas, products, or marketing campaigns. The best collaborators are those with rich imagination and the ability to elevate your thoughts.
The Challenger
These are the people who often doubt your abilities. They always say you can't do it or aren't good enough to do something. Their words or actions often ignite your mind. They make you crave to prove them wrong. And these seemingly "harsh" words are actually stepping stones for you to walk straight to success.
Partners are like our right-hand folks, filling in the gaps where we fall short and making the journey less lonely. And our wingmen or wingwomen? They’re the brainstorm buddies, the ones who help us cook up new ideas and strategies. But perhaps most unexpectedly, there are the challengers—the doubters who, ironically, fuel our fire, pushing us to prove them wrong.
