  1. Anger is punishing yourself for the mistakes of others.

  2. Worries are not scary; what's scary is falling into them. Injustice is not hateful; what's hateful is bowing down to it.

  3. Material abundance is wealth, while a tranquil soul is happiness. The wealthy aren't necessarily happy, and the happy aren't necessarily wealthy.

  4. Life is like a game of cards, with wins and losses. We can't always win. True joy comes from contentment, and true happiness comes from lightness of being.

  5. Changing oneself must start with "not getting angry" because most unhappiness in life stems from anger.

  6. In reality, life's worries are often not worries at all. Many people feel sad because they can't think lightly.

  7. In life, if we don't make things difficult for ourselves, no one else will.

  8. As long as life is in our hands, there is no dead end.

  9. In reality, relationships are equal and reciprocal. Your attitude towards others determines their attitude towards you.

  10. We cannot choose our destiny, but we can choose happiness. Happiness doesn't come from above but from within.

  11. As long as we're alive, nothing is a problem.

  12. Happiness lies not in having more but in needing less.
